Every year, our team is proud to donate $1500 towards specific charities that are near and dear to our hearts! Each member of our team has $250 to donate to a charity of their choosing, and this year we’d like to highlight these incredible organizations! If you’re looking for charities to donate to this holiday season, look no further! We’re proud to support these and hope you consider supporting them as well!
Suzette’s Charity: Maine Council on Aging – They support public policy that creates age equity across all systems, promotes equity for diverse older people, addresses historical structural inequities, supports municipal and community initiatives that expand meaningful options for them to live healthy, engaged, secure lives, and access the housing, transportation, care and other supports they need.
Jennifer’s Charity: Tall Tails Beagle Rescue – This organization is extra special to Jennifer, as her family rescued their dog from there! The group has helped rescue and/or rehome hundreds of hounds.
Ben’s Charity: The Center for Grieving Children – A nonprofit organization that provides a safe space, loving peer support, outreach, and education to grieving children, teens, young adults, families and the community. With services in Portland, Sanford, and virtually, the Center provides services at no cost that are led by dedicated and highly trained staff and volunteers thanks to the generous support of their community.
Ashley’s Charity: Resilience Chicago – Resilience is an independent, not-for-profit organization based out of Chicago that is dedicated to the healing and empowerment of sexual assault survivors. They offer a range of extremely important services like non-judgement crisis intervention, medical and legal advocacy, and much more. All free of charge. Jayme’s Charity: Make A Wish Maine – They create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Donations go a long way to make these wishes come true!
Rebecca’s Charity: Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine – this organization provides support services for adoptive and foster parents, and kinship providers. AFFM provides the training, guidance, knowledge, and resources needed to handle complex issues as families open their hearts and homes to children.
