Here are the charities our team chose to support this year!

Jennifer: The South Portland Holiday Toy Drive

Jennifer selected The South Portland Holiday Toy Drive, a community initiative she’s deeply involved in. Reflecting on her second year on the board, she shared:

“This is my second year on the board, and during my tenure, we have seen a drastic increase in need. We have 387 kids and teens to help this year, which represents more than 12% of students in oursouth portland holiday toy drive district. The need is great, and we can’t do it without the very generous help from our community businesses and residents. The Toy Drive hopes to ease some stress from parents and caretakers this holiday season by gifting kids and teens with a winter coat, boots, and items from a wish list from adopters. The funds we raise as an organization cover the costs of ensuring the same amongst the kids who do not get adopted. These funds will go a long way towards making the holidays brighter for the kids in South Portland.”

Ben: The Center for Grieving Children in Portland

Ben chose The Center for Grieving Children, an incredible organization that provides a safe space and supportive programs for children, teens, and families navigating grief and loss.
