I absolutely love the 13BB7. It’s a simple design, but I would prefer a design that’s simple and reliable, than one with a lot of pieces that could break and render the whole item useless. This item is about as simple as it gets: one large pocket, a small pocket on the outside, short handles and a shoulder strap with custom fabric and handle colors. But that’s the beauty of it to me. It’s also USA Made, which is a great bonus. For those who need more organization, some packing cubes could be a great add-in.
It’s been my go-to travel bag for at least 5 years and looks the same as it did when I received it! During my time at college I’ve stuffed it full of books, school supplies, and general travel items, and the zipper holds strong. The handles are attached securely and heavy cargo doesn’t seem to affect it. The 600D polyester material is super durable. My bag sat on somewhere on the LAX tarmac for 4 days during one of my travels when it was lost by the airline. It was eventually returned to me without any damage to the bag. This thing won’t quit!
While the price point is a bit higher, I would say that it is worth every penny considering how much use I’ve gotten, and how much more mileage this thing still has in it. Whether you’re camping, flying, or spending a weekend away, I would strongly recommend this item!
